Hey, I have a good chili receipe too!!! Very mild tho' so people that like a hot chili wouldn't like it.

Well, the vet came. After almost 2 1/2 hours I was $545. dollars broker. Oh well, the horses are all fixed up. Doc had to have a rotten tooth pulled and a double dose of drugs to get a big bean out. Stormy was a breeze and took everything okay after being sedated. Blue Eyes was limping today and might have an absess going on. Have to wait and see, maybe take her in for an Xray. But all three have their teeth done and all their shots. Coggins on the two boys.

OKH...My computer is a bit faster. Thanks for that!!

Headed to work tomorrow so off I go...

On edit....OKH...Just went and check FB and my email. Read over 50 emails in half the time it usually took. ALso FB was also much faster!!

Dar: I am glad it was faster. I'll check it again next time I am over. Love your new furniture! Looks so nice and the fencing and welcome sign WOW!!!!! The name of that place is Hollywood Corners (not a video store but a convenience store). Doug's cousin lives behind that so I didn't see her hubby, different vehicle. Can't wait to see what JR comes up with. If I could take that chest of drawers out of the first stall, I could put my new water barrel there that Treva gave me, if I ever needed it for primitive camping.

Speaking of Treva: GR and I had a great lunch with her last week. She saved barrels from work for us. And she can't post from work anymore...boo hooooooo! They are doing fine. Hopefully she can post at night from home when she gets a chance.

Heard that the meeting went well last night thanks to those who were able to go for Sportsman's trails. The city council voted to pass an ordinance prohibiting oil and gas drilling on the surface property at Sportsman. YAY!!!!
Happy Trails to You!

Chickened out with the cold and taking my 4 y/o grandson out to ride at the break of day today lol, tomorrow Mary Ben and I are going to finish establishing more of the trail 3 in case anyone feels like they just cant get enough work

Dar it looks like every day next week will be a riding day ????? I'm booked on Monday but after that we could put in some miles at lex.

Hi Buddies,

Looks like Spring break is going to be pretty nice. Wish I was going to RC. Where has AMR been keeping herself. I bet she is counting the minutes until SB.

I have been keeping busy trying to keep my house clean and getting ready to move at the same time. Let me tell you, that is hard to do. The old owners have cleaned out everything they are going to take and told me I could lock the barns and keep everything they left. It's like a treasure hunt. They were QH show people with tons of left over trophys. I will have a big box of those to do something with. I thought I would clean it all out and what I can't use I'll donate to the Blaze rescue. I can't wait to have a real barn. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record. Thanks for listening to me. There is just nothing else new in my life. Hope you all get some great riding in this weekend.

Later,

Eva

I hope everyone got out today and enjoyed the nice weather. I painted all day and worked on my LQ trailer. The new cabinet is so awesome, I can't believe how JR got it to work with my LQ walk through door since it opens into my LQ area versus the horse area. I will have to much storage now in a former wasted space. I am afraid my painting wasn't as good as I normally do. My stupid back and bending around and squatting, not so easy now. The cabinet is going to be so beautiful once I get done with it. Almost there. My horses stood at the fence and watched me most of the day...like what the heck is she doing in there? Tomorrow I will touch up the paint and give the trailer a good cleaning/mopping and reorganize my stuff again. JR also cut off one of my lower saddle racks (it had four) which will give me more room in my tack compartment. I am also going to go get another shoe hanger to hang up on the back wall of the tack compartment for more storage. I cut up my noodle (for swimming) to put along the bottom of the tack compartment to keep the shavings out of there (after seeing Dar's). That was hard pushing that darn thing. I need another piece to finish it off.

I really want to get everything neat and organized to make my camping life easier and not so disorganized.

Please say some HMMMMMMs for Margaret. I know she reads the board, just had a hard time posting. Her hubby is in the hospital with a pancreatic infection.
Happy Trails to You!

don't have time to respond back to all-just getting off work shortly- looks like some sunny weather coming up for the week. Hope the weather holds good for all and we can get out.Wish I was somewhere riding and camping this weekend... :)

Good morninga all!! Wish I was riding and camping with some of the gang but olanning on RC next week and got some stuff going on before I leave.

OKH....Looking good!!! It will take you awhilebefore you have it all filled!!! JR is happy you are pleased with it. And he thanks you for the upcoming shopping spree!!!! The paint is looking good. Did you get it unhooked okay?

Mom and I went on a road trip yesterday. Had a good time. Stopped at a little cafe in Luther that just took out a pan of fresh baked cinnimon rolls. They were huge and delish!!! Brought home one to JR.

Today I am just dragging. Plan on going out and doing a couple of things but don't know if I will make it.
